KAMARIKO TAVERNA
LINDOS
Welcome!
Just a few words about the history of our restaurant.
In the late 1890s our great great grandfather from the Toulaki family had opened a distillery (Kazanario) at the back end of the premises, where ouzo, brandy and souma were distilled, and a kafeneio (Cafe in those days) in the front of the premises, where all the mezes and barbequed meat were served with the spirits that were distilled at the back.
The premises have been passed on from generation to generation and still remain in the family today.
In 2007 we redesigned the layout and the decoration according to our customers' needs and comforts, and our food and traditions are as Greek as they were in those days.
Our name KAMARIKO means the traditional Lindian arches, which go back to the ancient LINDIAN times.
Epharisto! (Thank you)
